Orders placed by 3 PM eastern time are generally shipped the same day. We ship Monday through Friday except for holidays. Orders placed on the weekends generally ship the following Monday.
We ship to any location in the United States serviceable by UPS. At this time, we are not able to offer shipping to APO/FPO or international destinations, although we are working on adding that service very soon.
Your package's time in transit depends on several factors: what shipping service you selected at checkout, your location and the location of the warehouse your products are coming from. We have warehouses located around the United States and try to reduce your transit time (and cost!) by selecting the warehouse closest to your location. After your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information and an estimated delivery date from us so you'll be able to track your package right to your doorstep. You can also log in to your account and click on Track Packages to track your shipments. That being said, here are some guidelines for the transit time of our shipping options.

We use live shipping quotes from UPS as the basis for the shipping rates we charge. Unlike many online and mail order retailers, we do not intend to make money from shipping charges. We simply pass through to you what the carriers charge us. We do not charge our customers a "handling" fee. During checkout, you will know exactly what you will be charged for shipping for each of the shipping methods so you can make an informed decision. The amount listed during checkout is what you will be charged.
You may return all items purchased from Clearly Auto that are in new condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. New condition means the part is in its original packaging and has not been installed or altered in any way. If a product is packaged in plastic shrink wrap (like some gasket sets), they are not returnable if opened. Please make sure the part is what you need before opening it. Regular priced items are not subject to a restocking fee. Items receiving promotional free shipping will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping the return. The exception to this is returns due to misshipping or misboxing of the product or shipment damage. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages shipped back to us. We highly recommend using a carrier with delivery confirmation and package insurance. You as the shipper are the only one able to file a claim with the carrier for the loss.
You will receive email confirmation when your return has been received, approved and credit has been issued. Please allow 14 days from the time your return is received for credit to be issued. Be aware that although we have issued credit, it may take another 5 to 10 business days for your bank to process the refund. If you haven't received credit within four weeks of sending your return, please contact us at returns@clearlyauto.com.
Should you receive a part that upon arrival is defective, we will gladly send you a replacement at no charge contingent upon receiving back your defective unit. We must be notified of the defective part within 30 days of purchase and receive the defective part back within 20 days of this notification. If no replacement is available, will we refund your original purchase price in full. Defective replacements are limited to one replacement. Should the replacement also fail, you may return it at your own expense and we will refund your original purchase price. It is your responsibility to carefully inspect and test the parts prior to use of the vehicle. Should a part break following installation, it should be handled as a warranty claim to the manufacturer. See warranty terms below for more information.
Under no circumstances will our liability exceed the amount of the original sale. This means that we will not reimburse for labor expenses, towing expense, rental car expense or any other expense beyond that of the original part purchase.
To return parts, fill out the Return Merchandise Form included in your shipment. Email us at returns@clearlyauto.com to obtain an RMA number and include it on both your Return Merchandise Form and the address label on your package. Be sure to include your order number and part number in your correspondence. Any package received without an RMA number listed on the address label will be refused and will be returned to you by the shipper at your expense.
Parts must be returned to the location we specify in order for you to receive credit. Completing the RM Form and using the attached address label ensures that your return is properly routed so that you can receive credit. Please also include the RM form in the box with the items you're returning. We will not issue credit for items returned without a valid RMA included in the package. If you have misplaced your Return Merchandise Form, please email us at returns@clearlyauto.com for assistance.
We are happy to facilitate the return of cores! All auto parts noted as "Remanufactured" or "Reman" have a core or reusable portion. When you purchase a reman part, you pay a core cost in addition to the product price. This is essentially a deposit that will be returned to you when you return the core of the part you are replacing. If a part has a core cost, it is clearly listed on the Product Results page.
Cores may be returned within three months of the date of your order. Cores must be complete and in remanufacturable condition. They must also be returned in the box the replacement part came in.
Core returns must follow the same procedure as new product returns. To return your core, email at returns@clearlyauto.com to obtain an RMA number and complete the Return Merchandise Form included with your shipment. Be sure to include your order number and part number in your correspondence. Please allow up to four weeks for your refund to be credited to your account (although it usually takes less than that).
Every part we sell is covered by the full manufacturer's warranty. Warranty terms vary by product but most can be found on the manufacturer's website (see our Brands page) or on the product packaging. We are happy to help facilitate warranty claims on the products we sell. If a part purchased from us fails during its warranty period, email us at customerservice@clearlyauto.com and we will help you make contact with the manufacturer to file a warranty claim. Manufacturers typically require proof of purchase so please retain your Clearly Auto email receipt. Clearly Auto does not have its own product warranty.

Clearly Auto has the right to change prices and correct typographical or printing errors without prior notice. We reserve the right to cancel any order for any justifiable reason. In the event of this rare situation, we will contact you at the email address provided by you. Once an order is placed, it typically cannot be canceled as our warehouses respond very quickly to ship your order so that you can receive your parts as soon as possible. If you find yourself needing to cancel an order, please email us at customerservice@clearlyauto.com and we will attempt to accommodate you. If we are unable to cancel your order, you will be responsible for the purchase and shipping costs.
